VOC-free glueing

There are basically 2 ways to stick your rubber to the blade:

USING GLUE FOIL (ADHESIVE SHEET)
Please use the gluing foil only on lacquered blades.
1. Remove the unprinted side of the cover paper. Affix the gluing foil to the blade and cut to shape.
2. Remove the printed side of the cover paper.
3. Affix the rubber by gently pressing it to the blade.
4. When removing the rubber at a later date (when exchanging the rubber sheet) pull off the foil together with the rubber.

Attention: It is essential to affix the two sides of the gluing foil to the blade and rubber sheet exactly as described above. The blade might be damaged when removing the rubber if the two sides of the gluing foil are reversed!

USING WATER BASED GLUE
If the glue type is DONIC Formula First, ANDRO Free, STIGA Syncro BTG or XIOM I-Bond apply it evenly on the blade and rubber sheet using the stick with sponge applicator. Press firmly on to the sponge and blade and spread the glue evenly.
After approx. 10 minutes apply the rubber to the blade. Do not stretch the rubbers when applying to the blade - simply press firmly.

If the glue type is DONIC Vario Clean, ANDRO Turbo Fix, BUTTERFLY Free Chack, YASAKA Mizunori or STIGA Attach Power: Hold the enclosed sponge with the clip fixture. Apply the glue from the bottle evenly and thinly to the blade and back of the rubber sheet. Next, spread the glue evenly by using the pad (sponge?).
After a short drying period of approx. 10 minutes, apply the rubber to the blade.
Don’t stretch the rubbers when applying to the blade, just press them firmly.

Basics:
Never stretch a rubber when applying to the blade, as this would considerably increase the possibility of rupturing. Additionally the rubber could possibly shrink again after a short period of time resulting in the rubber being too small. The DONIC Formula rubber sheets in particular have an inbuilt tension and therefore the rubber sheets are very sensitive to faulty application. In order to avoid the playing characteristics of the rubber sheet being influenced negatively due to incorrect fixation, we recommend you use the DONIC gluing foil particularly for DONIC Formula rubber sheets.
